Two years ago, you graced us with your presence. And since then you have us wrapped up in your tiny little finger.

I wish I could be there to celebrate your birthday with you, but unfortunately I can't. I miss you very very very much. I miss everything about you... But to enumerate...

I miss ...

1. ...Your smile. It's so hard to get you to smile so when you do, it feels like such a big accomplishment.


2. ...How your lips point when you're concentrating on something. It's too cute for words.

3. ...Your tiny little hands and how amazingly strong your grip is.


4. ...Your cute little button nose which makes you look like little miss Strawberry Shortcake.


5. ...Your love affair with Bear and Lily. I can still hear them in my head sometimes. Haha. I remember my childhood and how enamored I was with this one doll, whom I affectionately called Baby Kalbo. I actually drew on its head, to pretend that it had hair. Yes, Ninang was somewhat a weird child.

6. ...Your love affair with Barney. Which I hear is now diverted to Woody. And Ninang may be more than two decades older than you, but I really do enjoy those kiddy things. Kahit paulit-ulit pa. Haha. Yes, Ninang is isip-bata. Which is a good thing, para relate tayo diba?

7. ...Your love affair with ice cream and how no matter how irritated you are when presented with ice cream, you're suddenly fine. See, that's how smart you are. You've figured out at a young age, women's answer to every problem.


8. ...How you sway when you wear a dress. It's absolutely adorable. Your mom has a video of you swaying your skirt like a little bell.


9. ...Your tiny little baby voice when you say "Nang". That just melts my heart.

10. ...How you extend your arms towards me when you want to make pakarga. :) It takes you so long to warm up to someone so when you finally do, it feels like a privilege.
