I sat outside today by choice, but mostly by chance. I haven't done that in a really long time. It was nice to be able to just sit in silence, while letting the world fade into the background ... and letting my mind wander off to where you are.
I thought of you today by choice, but mostly by chance. Though I think of you everyday, I haven't been able to focus much until today... To just think of you and no one else, to just sit in silence, letting everyone and everything slowly fade into the background until suddenly there's just you. Just so you know, I miss you. And I am longing for you.
I was wrong. As I almost always am by chance, but mostly by choice. But I know that one day, I will finally get it right ... & by chance and choice, we will be.
