Danabelle in What Seemed Like Forever Shorts

Sooo...

My stuff came in what seemed like forever.

Yayyy!

Anyhoos, I promised Graceebabygirlyswirly a detailed review on the brushes...

Everyday Minerals Eyeshadow Brush

This eyeshadow brush came with the Spring Color Kit. The kit consists of 3 eyeshadows - Leaps & Bounds (Light Green), Dandelion (Sparkly White), and Butterfly Kisses (Yellow). And 1 Blush - Sprung! (Light Raspberry-colored Matte blush) and it costs only $10.

The eyeshadow brush is made with synthetic bristles. It's cruelty-free and has a renewable bamboo handle.

Don't let the word synthetic fool you though. The brush is amazingly soft. It's just about as soft as Bodyshop's brushes if not more. The best part about this brush for me is the soft rounded tip which is soft, but sturdy enough, perfect for contouring shadows. Personally, it has completed my set. Because the size of the brush head is just in between my tiny Bodyshop brush and my Lifestyle blending brush. This brush will not double as a blending brush, however, in my opinion it is best used for countouring and defining lines...

My advice, for $10, there's no harm in getting it, in fact, I think it'll prove to be useful. Since this is being offered as part of a kit,
it's a fabulous deal. The brush alone costs $5. Each jar of make-up costs $2.50. So you can somehow consider yourself $5 richer if you buy the kit. Having said that, you will probably still need a bigger blending brush if you don't already have one.

Everyday Minerals Baby Kabuki Brush

Just as the name suggests it is tiny. Terribly cute. And very very soft. It's perfect if you don't have enough room in your purse to lug around a big make-up bag. But since it is tiny, applying and blending foundation might take a little longer than usual, but I have no doubt that it will be able to do the trick. ...It'll just take a little longer.

My advice, if you've got an extra $6 (+shipping), lying around, this brush is well well worth it, especially for make-up aficionados who are used to buying brushes worth over AED50/-.

Speaking of make-up... Allow me to present the height of my MUA career.

Ta-da...

Bongga, diba?!

My cousin showed me a photograph that she got off the internet... Don't know who took it 'cause there was no signature. Anyway, she said she wanted something like that... So I tried. And I think I was somehow successful.

Photograph by Konan Lim.

Di ko makuha yung anggulo eh.

-----------------------------------------------------------

I started writing out a letter earlier today... But I deleted it, because it just seemed too emotional even for someone like myself.

I don't even remember what it was about now.

Good thing.

Anyhoos, it's almost midnight. I best get to bed. I've a got long day/week ahead of me.

Miss you like crazy.
Love you like no other.

Kisskisskisskiss.
