Photography Related Chuva - D300 vs. D90

I am inclined to do something stupid or smart depending on how one would look at it...

I want to replace Dakota Trey with a D90.

On the surface, I know you'll all be like, "Whaa?" But if you look into the specs and see the sample images, you'd be like, "OMG. Whaa? I get her now."

Paki-gising po ako sa kahibangan ko... Either that, or give me more reasons to switch.

    dana!! ive been wanting to ask you about that but just didn't have time and always forgets to drop you a note. my hubby and i are considering of buying our very fist cam hehe and a friend suggested d90 is nicey nice.. well by the look of it.. i see I got an answer.. hehe change na go! go!

    Have you tried the D90? This is one of those "looks like chicken, smells like chicken, but tastes like fish" scenarios. Try and decide my dear. Gusto mo samahan pa kita.

    I don't know the exact translation of this: "Paki-gising po ako sa kahibangan ko..." --but was I successful at it? Lol. But if you ever want to sell your D300, I have a wad of crisp Monopoly bills. Crisp.

    My friend Marc was pretty successful with waking me up from my sanity (translation). And I'll keep you posted if I'll sell my d300. Monopoly bills are gold. Crisp ones at that.

    I'd keep that D300 if I were you Dana. If you noticed the shutter press in your D300 has zero slack compared to the D90's half pressed (same as the D80) feel. Try it out again. That was the only reason why I sold mine and got the D200 :) And feels even better on the D3. Sadly Nikon never makes the perfect spec. I think the upcoming D800 will be just that :)

    Sure the video feature is really tempting. Why not have both nalang? Hahaha! Actually I want one too!!! Aaargh! Now if only they changed that shutter release...

    You're right. It was just an impulse thing. It was just because I saw the images and how the D90 performs in lowlight... Plus the video thing... And for a moment I got a little crazy.

    I'm over it now. And you're right... We should just get both. Hahaha.
