Certainty

"If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

There are just some things that you will never know for certain. You could come to the most reasonable conclusions, but you could never be entirely sure.

Of how the weather is going to be in a particular place perchance. Or of how much time it will take you to get from one place to another. Or of how hot the sun would feel to the touch. ...Or perhaps even of people's feelings. You could make the most intelligent guesses and by some beautiful luck, you could be right. However, there is no definitive way to know, because there are about a million other factors that could determine the truth... Life is never certain. It is succinctly complicated.

If you fall in love with someone and the other person never knew about it... Would it have still been love? ...And if they had found out, would you have ended up together?

There are just some things that you will never know for certain. You can come to the most intelligent and reasonable conclusions, but you could never be entirely sure. Of course, that's not to say that it's a bad thing... After all, certainty would be the end of it. Confusion, on the other hand is just the beginning.

...And I certainly would rather begin than end.
