E.L.F.'s Studio Eyebrow Treat and Tame

I love this product's portability and how super fast and super simple the application is.
It doesn't give you as much control as E.L.F.'s Studio Eyebrow Kit or whatever other brand of Eyebrow Kit you use. But for days when you don't want to fuss and just want presentable eyebrows in 30 seconds, this works perfectly.
For people with fair to medium complexions and/or blond to brown hair, I suggest you use this product in Light. For darker complexions and/or dark brown hair, use Medium. For very dark complexions and/or those with black hair use Dark.
I have brown hair, hence I'm using light. I could also use Medium, but it's always better not to go overboard with the eyebrows so you don't look like a drag queen. (No offense to all my gorgeous drag divas.)
1. Start off with "treating" your entire brow. This gel is a lot like a conditioner with vitamins that promotes growth. If your brows are sparse from overplucking, you definitely need this... If not, you can skip this step, but there is no harm in conditioning your brows whether you need to or not.
2. "Tame" your brows with the mascara wand. Don't panic if it looks too light on your brows. We will fix it on the next step.
3. Brush/Blend with your eyebrow brush.
The end result is a natural but a well-manicured brow.Hope this helps, Mahal. :)
All my other girls, leave me a message or a comment if you have any questions about this or any other kakikayan stuff.
Kisses!!!
P.S.: Wag na lang pansinin ang unconcealed and unfoundationed face. LOL. Eyebrows lang. Hahaha.
ReplyDeletetlgng may gnun mahal..tsktsk
ReplyDeleteTHANKS ALOT MAHAL!!!!next time pwede yung eyebrow kit..hahahahahaha....(sobra nasobrana)hahahahahaa..meron ako both kc mahal eh hindi ko alam kung ano mas better..
Sige sige... Next Monday yung Eyebrow Kit naman. Hihihi. Step by Step ulit tulad nito.
ReplyDeleteThey're both good. Depende sa kung ano yung gusto mong look na ma-achieve.
Pag nagm-madali ka and kung gusto mo yung mas natural, use this.
If you want something more dramatic, if you have more time, and if you need full control over your eyebrows, use the Eyebrow Kit.
:)

ReplyDeleteI have a question nga pala.
What's the best way to clean your brushes?
Ayan kasi absent sa first Kikay Konference.
ReplyDeleteBlahahaha.
Di pa tayu magkakilala nun Loves.
ReplyDeleteAh ganon ba? LOL. Sorry. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHere:
Clean your brushes every week if you use it daily or every two weeks if you don't use it as much.
The best way to do this is with shampoo and conditioner.
You can shampoo the brushes by hand or you can use a dishwashing sponge. I do the latter because it suds up more.
Wet your brush with warm water.
Wet the sponge and put shampoo (just like you would put dishwashing liquid to a sponge.) and brush the surface of the sponge back and forth.
Make sure that the wood (or plastic) part of your brush does not get wet or when it does, just wipe it immediately.
Wash of the shampoo. If you feel that it's still dirty repeat the procedure until you're satisfied.
After rinsing condition your brushes then dry them horizontally on a towel.
Drying depends on how thick a brush is, but overnight should do...
:)
Whoasome!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Sweetie!
You're the bestest!
You're most welcome.
ReplyDeleteI'll give you the recipe for a brush cleanser (for immediate cleaning i.e. when you're outside... Or pag wala kang time.) when we meet.

Hi D!! Can you suggest ng a good face primer? like which brand that works best for oily skin like mine :(
ReplyDeleteDalawa palang nat-try kong primer and both seem to work perfectly well.
ReplyDeleteSmashbox Photo Finish Primer is fabu! It minimizes the pores and it's clear. It's a tad bit expensive though.
Yung BB Cream ng Skin food is also a great primer. But you'll have to use a darker shade of foundation (than what you're using now) to counter its lightness.
I hear that That Gal or Dr. Feelgood ng Benefit is also good. Haven't tried it, pero I want to, yun lang expensive din sya.
I used this coupled with Skinfood's Rice Concealer and bonggang bonggang walang pores pati ilong... I had to use EDM's Warm Tan na foundation and I'm usually a Light Medium.
ReplyDeleteHope that helps. :)
you know hon, Skin Food's BB cream makes my face soooooo oily.. as in the oiliest talaga..like pwede mag fry ng egg sa oiliness.. sad nga ako kasi mga 5% ang na-use ko tapos its not working so well for me :( 70aed pa naman yun..
ReplyDeletenow im scared to try other products from skin food even if i want to try this salmon dark circle cream concealer.. they're a bit pricey and they dont give out samples para you can try the product first if hiyang mo :(
Awww... I'm sorry na hindi s'ya nagwork sa'yo.
ReplyDeleteEyeko's cream is also a good primer. Na-try mo na ba yung sa'yo?
natry ko na girl, its nice :) so far.. no breakouts for it :)
ReplyDeleteisip ko its better to use it pag di na masyado maraming flaws sa skin hahaha :)
Hahaha. Yeah, maganda nga sya gamitin by itself. Minsan pag tinatamad ako yun lang gamit ko coupled with concealer.
