Make-up Monday - LATELATELATE

But I had a friend over yesterday... And we were all busy cooking and e'rything.

Last week, Recy asked me to do a tutorial on E.L.F.'s Eyebrow Kit.

My eyebrow kit in Medium.

LOL. I never use this kit. Ever. LMAO.

I usually start off with concealing and foundation and then I do my eyebrows.

But we're skipping the concealing and foundation step today. Just check out the brows.

1. Start filling your brows with the gel (left box) using the angled side of the tiny little brush. (That brush is friggin' annoying to use at first, but you'll get used to it.)

2. After filling it in you can go ahead and place the powder (right box) over it, but what I usually do is after I fill it in with the gel I use a clear mascara, you can use E.L.F. or any other brand. I have a AED2 clear mascara from the 12345Dirham Shop that I use everyday (I was looking for it for this tutorial, but I couldn't find it. I think hiniram na naman ng GHOTS ko. LOL.)

3. After the mascara, I put the powder (right box) in using the rounded side of the tiny little annoying brush...


4. Then, you take your eyebrow brush and just give it one last sweeparoo.


The end result?

This is with just one brow done. LOL. Parang tanga lang eh.

And here's both.

Again, the eyebrow kit is great for when you want a more bolder look and if you have a couple more minutes to spare.

If you're in a big big rush and you want really natural looking eyebrows that are understated, then use E.L.F.'s Studio Treat & Tame.

Both are great products that are different so one isn't necessarily better than the other.

Also last week, Ella asked me for tips on how to get your lipstick to last. Based on my experience, there are three different ways to do this...

1. Line your lips with a lipliner that's a similar shade to your lipstick and color it in... Put your lipstick over it. The liners last longer.

2. There are semipermanent liptints on the market. Waterproof/foodproof. Those are great you just have to keep reapplying the gloss to keep it shiny but the color lasts like forever. You'll need a makeup remover to remove it, too btw.

3. Don't eat. Drink. Or talk. Don't even smile. LOL. I'm kidding.

Mini E.L.F. Haul!!!

Yayyy!

Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Pink Lemonade. Tried it. Loved it. It doesn't glide on too pink.

E.L.F.'s  LLL line feels and looks lot more like lipgloss than lipstick. Which works well for me, because I'm a gloss girl.

Haven't tried this yet. I've been meaning to, but I haven't had the chance.

This, too. Haven't tried it yet. But it looks pretty awesome...

I've tried both. I have to say I still like their Studio mascara more. I mean it's not bad, but yeah, when I finish my mascara, I'll probably order the other Studio mascara instead.

Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Ash... Which looks a lot more blue than ash, which was a little disappointing. But ehhh. It's ok.

This, I love...

I have nothing against my brush belt... But I figured this would be easier for storage... (That and I'm thinking of getting another set of brushes... Hahaha.)

Ah and this... Dahil hindi pa ako naawa sa sarili ko at gusto ko pang mas pakumplikahin ang buhay ko.
