Danabelle in Embroidered Shorts

I uploaded the embroidery pictures onto this blog here last week... And this blog was supposed to have been published on October 29th... Or 30th at least. But unfortunately I've been so busy (read: uninspired and friggin' lazy) so it remained a wordless draft blog with pictures until now. And so, now that I've finally found the time... Here I am, blogworld. I missed you!

So... I've been getting so addicted to embroidery stuff.

Hahaha.

Who knew I'd be in that position, right?

LOL. Actually, if you knew me, you would know how into crafts and home ec I am. LOL. So this isn't really such a big surprise.


Ok so I know that it's just your basic running stitch... I meant to make it a whipped running stitch, but I kind of like it this way... It gives it that stitched feeling (Duh?)... IDK how to explain it. LOL.


Oooh. I started working on Gerk's pouch last weekend. Hihi.


I wanted to do a full embroidery on the "GERK" name, but it didn't come out too well, so I'll redo it right after this blog.

Oh and we'll probably go get some more fabric next week for other projects. This is hella addicting.

So, I chanced upon this guy on YouTube (His username is EnKore. Look him up, he's got some pretty good tutorials.) who did this tutorial on cleaning brushes and stuff. He had this homemade brush cleaner which was really easy to make.

It's 1 cup water, 1/4 cup alchohol, 1/2 tsp. shampoo (mild/clear), 1/2 tsp. dishwashing liquid, and 1 tsp. liquid leave-on conditioner.

I used 1tsp. of shampoo and omitted the dishwashing liquid. Cause our dishwashing liquid is the hella cheaps kind. LOL.

But so yeah, it works pretty well. :)


I'm planning to deep-clean my brushes, too. Probably after this blog as well. Hehe.

Tap is getting more challenging... But at the same time it's getting a lot more fun too.

I think I've finally gotten the lick. LOL. It's the left-bitty-bop and the right-bitty-bop with the hop-hop-skiddle-skiddle-clap thing that's kind of confusing now. LOL.

But it'll be fine. I just need to practice.

So, since I started tap and people started knowing about it, they keep asking... Why.

Uhmm... Durr... Because I want to? Do I really need a reason? I mean c'mon, now.

But anyway, if y'all must know why I'm so bent on learning tap. Please blame the classic musicals that kept playing on TNT at night right after Cartoon Network back when I was a kid. LOL.

I saw him on Bamboozled a couple of years ago and I was dumbfounded. He is hella awesome.

Oh and if you haven't seen Bamboozled. Watch it. It's my kind of movie... Weird and all that jazz, y'know?

So the weekend was pretty fun.

I am no longer poorsss. Hahaha.

Yep I received my salary... But it was just half of what I was supposed to get. Apparently, there was a human glitch over at payroll.

But hey... I'm definitely thankful that I've gotten half of it. Finally.

Of course... Over the weekend, I did what a girl would normally do when a girl gets paid.

I went shopping.

Even better, I went bargain shopping! Haha.

New brush from Lifestyle. :) Hihihi. I gotta say I am loving this brush. It's just the right size ya know? *Whispers* Like for concealing dark circles under the eyes. Hihi.

Every Friday, at the church that we go to, there's a thrift shop that they open up for charity for the school. And I got these there:

He looks like a cow, but I think he's a horse. LOL. Another addition to my animal bank family.

Don't you just love the colors on these? It so feels like Autumn/Thanksgiving. Ahihihi.

Finally. Napkin rings. I know, right? We've got a couple of different sets of plates, a couple of different sets of placemats and napkins and not a one napkin ring. So finally, we now have some.

Two new bottles for my bottle thingies. Yes. Magb-bote ako. I remember when I was younger, when my yaya would take me for a walk around the village, and back then BF Resort was still like a ghost town, so anyway, there were lots of vacant lots, right? I remember scavenging those lots for interesting bottles. LMAO. I remember my favorite one was the Maggi Savor bottle thing. Nyahahaha. Tsk. I know, I know... What do you do with girls like me?

Oooh oooh! I love love love this.

It's right up there with those cigar boxes... Which by the way, I've yet to find. If anyone smokes cigars and doesn't want the box anymore, gimme! :D I'll love you forever if you do.

BTW, I had an OC moment when we got home. I sprayed that thing with disinfectant. It wasn't dirty and didn't smell though... There was just something in me that said, "Spray it, D. Spray it like you've never sprayed ever." LMAO. I think I just made my momma proud. Hahaha.

Then we went to Claire's!!! Yayyyy! Kasi di ako makakatulog until I get these:

I got this on sale. It's teh shite.

Aren't these the cutest lipglosses you've ever seen in your life? And if you say, no, you're lying because, these are hella cute and you know it. The soda pop gloss was on sale, but the cuppycake wasn't... But you know I had to get the cuppycake.

Don't you just love those earrings??? They were only for AED5. I hella hope that I don't lose it again... I keep losing my hoop pairs. The big ones too! It's odd 'cause I never lose the smaller earrings. Tsk. I got the stand from Claire's too. Half price, baybee.

Oooh, I tidied up my room! Sort of... Well it looks better now a little bit... I can't find my hook things so some of my stuff are still not up where it's supposed to be, but it looks better.

Over the weekend, I finally decided to use this:

I got this like 2 years ago when I bought my contacts. Blahahaha. I keep bringing it on trips and stuff, but I was never able to use it... Don't know how the pictures are gonna come out and if the film is still ok, because it looks like it kind of got wet and whatever. LOL.

So, this should be pretty interesting.

The problem with the world today is how people never realize how lucky they are to be with someone that they love and having that same someone love them back. I mean, I'm sure they know they're lucky... And they'll even profess it, but they don't really realize it on a daily basis.

It's taken for granted. Because it's just there.

Then we blow things out of proportion just to have something new...
