Danabelle in Disturbing Shorts
I'm hella addicted to this song. It's been on loop for about two hours now. LMAO. Tsk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry for the lack of bloggage as of late... It's just that everytime I go online, the only thing that I can think of doing is do research on crafts.
Holy guacamole, I've gone craft crazy.
I dream of sewing stuff up all day.
Sigh.
What do you do with girls like me?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Speaking of crafts...
I finally finished my receiver pouches

I'm gonna start working on the remote pouch now. I thought I'd do something different like a tiny drawstring pouch for the remote...

I'm still sewing this by hand, btw. Because I'm hella scared of that sewing machine. LMAO. Baka sarili ko na matahi ko dun next time. Haha. Mami says we should get me a tiny sewing machine to start with... Parang yung laruan ng bata.
LOL.
LOL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oooh, I've been meaning to learn how to knit and crochet for two years now. LOL. I dug up some patterns that I printed years ago the other week because of my beautiful crafting dreams. LOL.
Does anyone know how to knit? And crochet? Can you please teach me? I know there are a bunch of tutorials all over the net... But I want an actual demonstration. LOL.
So, if any of y'all would be kind enough to teach me, I'll make you lunch or something then you can teach me how to knit and crochet.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sooo, I've been meaning to do a bunch of things... I can't seem to find the time though.
Tsk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the past few days/weeks, I feel like I've lost my eloquence... Not that I ever really had any, but I feel like writing's become hard...er.
I need to get sauced up. I feel so sober.
LMAO.
On lighter news, things are going great at work. Thank God. Everyone seems to be getting along so well.
I think that's what it is... My creativity and wit thrives on being miserable and oddly enough despite being broke, I'm actually happy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh here's a funny story...
I was changing the fishies' water when Monkey (The orange one... Orange... Orangutan... Monkey. Dig?) jumped out of the net thing and into the trash.
Of all places that he could jump into, he jumped into the the trash. Goodness me. I got so scared and panicky, I think I might have woken up the entire building. LMAO.
So I finally get him out of the trash, but I couldn't grab him to put him into the water. Thankfully, Mami, who was already sleeping woke up because of all of my shrieking, grabbed the fish in like two seconds and got him into the dirty waterless bowl. LMAO.
She was able to get him out again and placed him onto the other bowl thing while I washed the bowl. He's ok now. But he scared the crap out of me. LOL. Tsk.
Naughty Monkey----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oooh! I got a call from Marc this afternoon... Unfortunately, the pasta thing didn't go through, but oooh, he's got something in the mail that we're both hella excited about.
Hihihi.
November's almost here.
And I've gotten nowhere. Blahahaha.
Lichi naman kasing araw-araw kami nagl-lunch ng boss ko.
Yeah, like I said, things are going well at work. LOL.
Goodness.
Hello Chubuary. How are you today?
PostSecret!!!
I'm 24... I'm not sure if I'm getting there yet.
It's been a while since I've realized something. Realizations are such a beautiful thing.
Oh and just in case you missed me... Here are a million pictures of my face from my cellphone.

One day... A couple of decades from now when all cellphones have 20 megapixel cameras... People will try to recreate this cellphone photo effect. It'll be a fad like lomo. Haha.
What?
It's gonna happen, I'm telling you.
For the past two days... The sky has been so beautifully blue, peppered with clouds. I guess, that means winter may just be right around the corner.
I could type a thousand words on how this makes me feel... But only a picture could depict it clearly enough. Unfortunately, I have no words and there are no pictures.
Anticlimactic, I know... But you know me.
Loveheartloveheartloveheartloveheartlove!

I know I still haven't posted the rest of the pictures from my not-so-recent trip to Europe. Forgiveth the busy bee.
Oooh. Bee! Last week, I was wearing this black & yellow combo and Mina, my tap teacher called me Danabee.
Hihihi.
I miss Kisstian.

Danabelle in Pukengkay Shorts
Today at tap, we learned how to do a lick.
Ang heraafff. Nakakalito. LOL.
But it was pretty fun.
I <3 tap. Hihihi.
So... I was able to make the "ghetto" mixing medium with Super G. And like I told all y'all, I'll let you know how it worked out.
I thought I'd do you something better and actually show you...
Here's my cheap-ass eyeshadow palette.
LOL.
Remember how purdee I was the other day? On this picture you can actually see how I raped my eyeshadow palette so I could look purdee. (Check out the olive green block. Napanot.)
Anyhoos, here's a comparison between using just the powder and with using the Super G mixing medium.

With the mixing medium, the colors are a lot darker and more vibrant.
My opinion is (and feel free not to listen to me... No one ever really does anyway. LOL.) that if you're putting on colors that are vibrant and are different from one another (i.e. Yellow and blue. Blue and green. And so on...) the Super G Mixing Medium is definitely a must-have, must-use, must-must-must. However, for nudes and browns you may want to skip using the mixing medium... I mean, you can, but it's not completely necessary.
Super G Mixing Medium is 1 part Super G and 3 parts water.
And for those who haven't read my previous blog. Super G stands for Glycerine.
You can also get a Mixing Medium at MAC Pro, but that's gonna be hella expensive.
Speaking of MAC... I was at Mercato yesterday and I happened to pass by their shop. I went in to check just how expensive they really were...
AED80 for one tiny eyeshadow thing.

I thought... Ok... They're really good, so they're really expensive. So I tried the testers for the eyeshadows on my hand... Not bad. Alot more color than my cheap-ass palette, even without a mixing medium. So I thought, ok. They've got a right to be expensive.
So anyway, as I was leaving, I saw that Claire's (which was right next to the MAC shop) was on sale... So I went in, because I couldn't help myself... Eventhough I can't really buy anything because I'm hella broke. Anyway, I was surprised to see that they're selling make-up now.
And so... I think you know where my story is going...
I tried their eyeshadows, and guess what... Side by side with the MAC eyeshadows... Claire's eyeshadows were better. HELLA BETTER. And hella cheaps too. Too bad I didn't have any money. I would have cleaned that store up.
The moral of the story: Just because something is popular, doesn't mean it's the best.
I mean I really don't mind spending more money on something if it's worth it... MAC unfortunately is not.
Oooh oooh! Today, I had breakfast for lunch.
Nummy-nummy.
Speaking of Nummy-nummyness. Marc called me saying that a friend of his needed an image. And since, I was bored I jumped at the chance.
So, I cooked up some pasta and started clicking.
Dramarama Pasta
Highkey Pasta
Pasta pasta pasta.
Mmmm...
Special thanks to my P.A. (Pasta Assistant), Mami. LOL.
Na-miss ko tuloy Italy. Hayyysss. I want to go to Venice sa San Marco. LOL. Dun sa pagkababang pagkababa mo ng taxi boat. LMAO. Gaaahhh...
Me: *to waiter* English please.
LMAO.
Sooo... It's the end of the weekend again. Sigh.
Why can't it be the other way around?
Like workdays would be two days and then the weekend would be five days.
I want that kind of week.
Oh well.
Kissy kissy!

Danabelle in Twin Shorts
So I was supposed to go to a show today...
I was all excited the whole day and as soon as I got home I got ready...
Then, when I was all made up and purdee, I opened my email to get the map to the place... Only to find that the show was cancelled.

Ang ganda ganda pa naman ng pagka-mook-ap kerrr. Bussett.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
But anyway, I'm actually kind of happy that the show got cancelled.
It gave me time to spend with a good friend of mine. A very good friend. In fact, I do believe that was my first friend here in the U.A.E.
Sooo... Hindi rin naman nasayang ang make-up ko. Blahahaha.
PICTURES!!!

2. My shot

3. Naawa s'ya sa'kin. Kasi ang ganda ko. Blahahaha.
Kaya pinagtiyagaan n'ya akong model. LOL.

6. Ito si SLUSH
Take note, SLUSH, hindi SLASH.
7. Ito naman si Cousin Itt.

Then we decided to play with the Multiple exposure thing...
Oddly enough, it turned out very very very well.
8. I have a twin!!!
9. ...An evil twin. :(
Y'all should see his self-portrait! It's teh shite.
I'll let him post that for all y'all. I'm tellin' you it's awesome.
Then we thought we'd try the multiple exposure thing in the living room...
...Didn't work as well as planned.
10. Ghosted
So we just took two shots and put 'em together.

12. My shot.

Oh and para talagang hindi masayang ang pagkamook-ap ko.

All pictures were taken with his D300.
Thank you, Marc! :D I had fun. It was nice hanging out with you again. We haven't done that in like 2 years or something. :D See you soon, you!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So tomorrow, I get to see Ga. :) I miss her everso muchnessmentful.
It's been a long long loooooong time.
Sigh.
This morning I dreamt of a photoshoot by the sea...
It was so weird 'cause the wharf/dock was kind of lopsided so I was setting up my equipment and it was like I was slipping.
Thankfully there was this like super P.A., who apparently was also super gay. Which was so fun. He was setting up the fishing rods and when I saw it, I was all like, OMG, I'm so proud to be a part of this shoot. LOL.
Ang ganda eh.
Oooh! Oooh! BTW, my make-up today is brought to you by the letter G.
Super G that is.
Glycerin is absomalutely the awesomest thing that has ever happened to my mook-ap set. LOL.
I still need to practice the blending of it a little bit more, but OMG. It's made my cheap-ass eyeshadow palette look so vibrant.
Loveheartloveheartloveheartlove.
Mamu celebrates his birthday tomorrow. Oh wait. Seeing that it's already 3:30am. His birthday is now.
Happy birthday Mamu! I love you with so much of me. I can't wait to see you.
May you have all that you wish for today and always.
Anyhoos, I best get going.
I still have church tomorrow. Goodness.
Remind me next week not to stay up this late.
*Yawn*

Photography Related Chuva - D300 vs. D90
I am inclined to do something stupid or smart depending on how one would look at it...
I want to replace Dakota Trey with a D90.
On the surface, I know you'll all be like, "Whaa?" But if you look into the specs and see the sample images, you'd be like, "OMG. Whaa? I get her now."
Paki-gising po ako sa kahibangan ko... Either that, or give me more reasons to switch.
Kthxbai.

Lookie what the mailman brought me today...

Ahihihi.

Make-up!!! Yayyyy!
Ok so, don't judge me just yet... Not all of those are mine. The two big compacts are Mami's. The small ones and three of the medium ones are samples. Oh and the other big compact and one of the medium-sized ones were for FREE. Can you believe it? Freebies are teh shite!
Hihihi.
BTW, I think I've finally found my color. :) I tried COOL PEACH earlier today and it was ... Cool, for lack of a better word. I haven't tried the other samples yet though, but I really liked how it blended with my skin.
I also tried THEME PARK blush. Now normally I'm not such a big fan of dark blush because I get red really easily, but THEME PARK is just awesome. :) I think that coupled with a lighter foundation it'd be perfect.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Speaking of make-up stuff... I've been doing some research on mixing mediums and since I have no mowwnneehh, I stumbled upon a d.i.y. mixing medium and I thought I'd make one.
So, I scurried off to our local pharmacy and got this

for AED8. Not bad eh? You're supposed to mix it with water and voila, you've got yourself a mixing medium.
Anyway, I did some further research on Glycerine and I found that it had a lot of other uses...
You can use it to speed up the healing process for cuts and scrapes (or bigger wounds) and minimize scarring. Diluted in water, it can be used as a great moisturizer. You can use it soften hardened skin i.e. your feet soles or if you have caluses. And you can even use it as a mouthwash (...but I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon.)
Now isn't that awesome? Glycerine should be called Super G. Or something like that.
I haven't tried the mixing medium yet. Maybe tomorrow. :) I'll let y'all in on the results and stuff.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
This morning, I had such a weird dream... Actually, it's a recurring dream... Or I dreamt in the dream that it was a recurring dream... Or something or other. I'm not sure. It's a little confusing. But anyway, the dream was that there was this lady who kept coming to our house, thinking that it's hers and she kept arguing about it, saying that it was her house and stuff... But apparently she lives next door, she just keeps getting it messed up.
So, anyway this morning, in the dream, we were arguing in the driveway, and apparently it was disturbing enough that it made me kick in my sleep and I awoke with this sharp pain on the side of my foot.
Like, ouch.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
We have been on Tagalog movie overload for the past three days. Hahaha.
It's insanely bakya, I know... But who cares? Bakya naman ako eh. LMAO.
Langya, kinilig talaga ako kay KC & Richard and kay Sarah & John Lloyd.
I have to say, I'm starting to really like John Lloyd. He's got that boyish kind of charm kind of thing when he smiles. It's adorable.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
So, today, I made coffee. ...At work. ...And my boss drank it. ...And my officemates.
Nyahahaha.
Now before you start thinking anything... For those of you who know my history, just know that they all liked the coffee and they all said that I should always make coffee all the time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyhoos... I best get to bed.
Masyado akong nawiwili sa YouTube. LOL. I didn't realize that it's almost 1am. Tsk.
At least it's almost the weekend. And you know what? I don't care what the song says... Almost DOES count.
Kisses!
