i have tried them all but i really like the powder foundation because of the feeling that my face can "breathe". The liquids and creams make me feel like it's too malagkit, even when it dries to a matte finish. Plus, the humidity on Guam isn't the best to use the creams and liquids. Yayyy for powder/mineral foundations!!

The one thing I love about EDM is that andaming shades na pagpipilian and there is something that will most likel be your shade. Sa e.l.f kasi iilan lang. Pero coverage wise, ano ang mas maganda, Ms. D?

ReplyDeleteAs for your question... I have yet to try E.L.F.'s foundations, but you're right about EDM having lots and lots of choices. With E.L.F., it seems iffy, kasi it goes from light to white, eh paano yung mga undertones. I do love their eyeshadows, though. The E.L.F. Mineral Eyeshadow line as I mentioned in a previous review are great. They're not powdery at all, parang wet pa nga eh, so no fall-off. Goes from the container, to your brush, to your eye.
I ordered a finishing powder from E.L.F. Minerals that should be arriving next week. Kaso sheer naman yun, so I can't really judge from there about the coverage of their foundations. I have a friend who ordered the whole line of foundations, gagamitin for photoshoots, I can investigate for you and find out. Hehe.

ReplyDeleteThe only thing too about the EDM foundations is that in my previous order, I order lots of pressed powder foundations kaya lang they look dark sa pics on the website, when I tried them on sobrang puti! waaaah,, hindi ko tuloy magamit nang yun lang, I have to darken with a bronzer. Hihi, all in all, masaya pa rin.

ReplyDeleteMy trouble with E.L.F. is that the colors do seem limited. Normally, it's ok, but it seems as if their colors lean more towards yellow and pink... Olive undertones are ignored.
The powders glide on pretty well... They're not like Joppa Minerals where it feels like you're putting on sand. LOL.
E.L.F.'s colors are also dark on the photos. Warm is actually more like Medium Beige Neutral on EDM.
Like putting on sand? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteHaha, yeah, maybe I should try ELF's Warm. Another reason why I am starting to switch to ELF is that they ship directly to GUam wherein EDM do not. I had to go through my friend in CA. Then she had to ship to me. Hassle pa sa kanya. So far lahat naman sa E.L.F nagustuhan ko. I have to try the lipsticks too =)

ReplyDeleteI see, yeah, there's no harm in trying. Especially kung hassle pa pala ang EDM. Strange EDM ships directly dito sa UAE, pero sa Guam lang na kalapitlapit, hindi nagsh-ship.
