For those who've been paying attention, my mom took me to Al Khatt Springs for my Birthday Weekend. :)
It was awesome! But of course the predicament was what make-up to bring.
I couldn't very well just bring everything for the whole weekend and plus I didn't really want to put too much effort into it, because I know I'll just be swimming or something or other... So I had to make some very hard choices.
In the end, I decided to bring:
Skinfood's Aloe Sun BB Cream in 2
I LOVE THIS!!! I'm using it daily and I can't get enough of it. I really feel like it's making a big big big difference to my skin.
EDM's Kaolin Powder in Soft Bronze
I got this as a free gift from EDM in those sifter jars. Actually, I got two of these. LOL.
The Bodyshop's Liquid Lip Color in 2
Forever favorite.
And lastly,
E.L.F. Studio Eyeliner and Shadow Stick in Brown/Basic
Can I just say that I love this thing??? I'm definitely thinking about ordering the other colors. It's cut my make-up time in half and it looks absolutely fabu! Hihihi. It's just line, swipe, swipe, and pat, pat. Love it!
I skipped the mascara and the eyebrow kit, kasi baka maging Kung Fu Panda lang ako... Imagine, mags-sauna ka ng may mascara at todo eyebrow... Kamusta naman yun???

Choose your poison... Lipstick, Lip Gloss, Lip Tint, or Lip Balm?
I'm a lip gloss girl, myself. I just can't get enough of that shine. Sometimes pag sinusumpong lang, I use lipstick. At night, I always try to put on some lip balm though, so that my lips feel oh so soft when I wake up. :) Hihihi.

ReplyDeleteGeom on Kikay Kwestyon: I've got to say that Lip Balm should be a staple... But then again given how yummy my plumping lip gloss is an just how amazing my pout looks in it medyo STALEMATE. Pero ano namang saya ng buhay ung walang lipstick-of- the day? I mean, it is a staple morning perk me up - and unlike coffee or tea it comes in every imaginable hue!!! JOY!
ReplyDeleteKasi ang routine ko ay SAT-THURS AM Lipstick+gloss NN-Retouch AM pick PM lip balm FRI- balm or gloss only the whole day pero pick a shade- any shade ang drama...so what to choose?! Is it too much to ask for all of them? Can't a girl have everything?

Geom on EDM Stash: Once you've tried the Jane Austen Collection paki kwento na lang ang results... 50/50 kasi ako dito eh...hindi ko alam kung kaya kong dalhin pero I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteNga pala, thanks again for coaching my hubby on the Coastal Scents Palettes. Nagamit ko na last shoot and so far okey naman sya. Ganda lumabas ni Gesh! Highly pigmented naman kaya mabilis mag-build ng colors and in fairness kaya nya ang 3 flash ni Marc na sabay-sabay nakatutok sa model...

I think the problem with me and lipsticks is that it's so hard to find the perfect shade... Whereas sa lip gloss or tint, ok lang kahit anong shade or hue, kasi it's opaque-ish so carry lang.

In the morning, when i put on my "face" I would always put on lipstick, right now I'm using "Amber Suede by Mary Kay". Then after lunch, I touch up, lipstick pa rin pero yung shade ko in my purse is Mary Kay na Gingerbread. I am a Mary Kay lipstick type of girl coz it's the only one I found that doesn't dry my lips even when I do not have any lipstuff on my lips. In the afternoons naman and weekends, just to moisturize my lips, I am now using e.l.f's Angel (love it, pati yung scent ang sarap)... =)

About the Summer Bronzer naman, I ordered that with my last EDM stash, kaso like I mentioned to you noon, they don't ship to Guam so I had my order shipped to my friend in Irvine, CA, then she sent it pa to me... so pagdating dito ng stuffs ko, ayus lahat maliban sa bronzer, which was really damaged on its way here kasi di na sha pressed... oh sad! So I put it in a mixing jar and use it pa rin pero sayang halo halo na yung shades ng pagiging bronze niya =(
