Friday...
We went to DFC, K and Mami needed to get some stuff from Ikea... And I wanted to pass by Sephora and see Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer ... which wasn't available.
Which would have been ok, if their sales people weren't such pricks.
I've never seen such terrible customer service or lack thereof...
I was in the store for about 15 minutes, looking terribly lost, and not one person approached me to ask me what I wanted. When I finally approached someone looking for the product, she started pushing some other product which was not what I was looking for. I specifically told her that I needed a silicone-based primer. When I tested the primer that she offered, I said it wasn't really doing it for me, and I asked whether they had any other primers. She snarled and said no.
Ugh.
Bad bad bad customer service. Those people needs to get their training on.
Anyhoo, after DFC, we passed by Al Ghurair, because I'm just hell-bent on getting me some BB Cream. LOL.
...On my way to Skinfood, however, this caught my attention.

ReplyDeleteI bought the E.L.F. brushes because they were a steal. :) I haven't gotten around to buying the bigger EDM brushes (LHK and FT), but I imagine that they would be super soft just like the baby kabuki and the full kabuki.

I love EDM's eyeshadow kabuki though... Which I haven't seen any other company selling.
BTW, yung matte lipstick, try Revlon or Clinique. :) Hihi. Mwah!

ReplyDeleteJust ordered from EDM, pero yesterday I was on e.l.f almost the whole day (in between work shyempre), and I just can't get over how wonderfully priced they are! You are right, the brushes are a steal! Is there such a thing as having too many brushes? haha, no, I don't think so..
Anyway, I'm thinking of ordering kasi when you order $15 worth they give you the mini for FREE. check it out! They ship to Guam too!! Me so happy! Tsaka where sa iba it costs a lot, you could get a ton of things for half the price of what others sell. i mean $1 for eyeliners, eye shadows, even lipglosses? Haaaay, nakakaloka talaga ang make-up. I can see why hindi mo rin mapigilan sarili mo.

ReplyDeleteYeah, there are some really great E.L.F. stuff. The eyeliner pen at a dollar is super awesome. The bronzer, too. Some eyeshadows are great some are not so great, but for a dollar they're ok enough. The brushes are definitely worth your money, especially the studio line. Very very nice. They also released some new stuff, which I am itching to try. LOL. Hayyysss. When will this ever stop? LOL. I ordered my free mini about two weeks ago. I'm hoping it'll be here for next Monday's blog. :)
Yeah, it does take forever to come. And as it seems, parang tuwing Monday na lang ako nakakapagblog. LOL.
