The Obligatory Valentine Post

Of course, writing on, of, about, around this day hasn't exactly been a delight... But this year it's a little bit harder.

There was that certain sense of hope or despair that went along with it every year.

Trust me to compare hope with despair.

Of course, to me, they are the same. Both feelings are felt with such great passion.

This day has always been set aside for me. I set it aside for someone. This day was his. But it is with hope and despair that I say that it no longer is... However, it is also with a genuine passionate hope that I say, that someday it will be somebody else's.
