Danabelle in Italian Shorts

Surprise, surprise.

It's shorts time.

Haha.

Sooo... As I had earlier mentioned, plan B was to go home to the Islands had I not been able to get my schengen. Somehow, though, it feels like I am in the Philippines... For a couple of reasons:

1. I have 25-fil-sized-insect bites
2. It's hot like a mutha.
3. I'm eating filo food (Yummy yummy dinuguan.)
4. I had a semi throat-ache this morning when I woke up. This usually happens to me when I'm forced into an extremely humid environment (i.e. The Philippines)
5. I'm staying with a Fil-Am family who are a lot more Fil than they are Am. Which is a relief considering how everyone now, especially the Starbucks generation, all think they're eh-meh-ri-kehn or something. It's refreshing to see people who are typically Pinoy despite the blue passport.

I've been taking a bajillion pictures for the past four days. Dakota Trey has been very good. I still need a little time getting used to how he accepts light, but for the most part, we're getting along very well.

Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to resize and upload the pictures we've been making for all of y'all to see.

My laptop, Baby Ace is acting up again and I'm using my host family's PC and blahblahblah.

Can't. Upload. Pictures. Now. Can. No. Longer. Explain. Gaaahhh.

I started reading The Wedding this morning. I know, right? Hyperdelayed.

I also read/skimmed and finished What To Expect During The First Year.

I am now ready to be a mother.

...Or so I think.

My godbaby has started to warm up to me. She's suplada just like her momma. Haha. It's so cute. And I love her eversomuch.

Hopefully, by the end of the week, we'll be like NGFAE (Ninang & Goddaughter Forever And Ever). Hahaha.

She's absolutely adorable and I would show you, but like I said, pictures later.

I've started to get used to sleeping in the dark. Of course I have to have my iPod blasting while trying to get to sleep. But ehhh... It's an improvement, I think.

Dreams are funny. Since my first night here, my dreams have become a lot different and a little more lucid.

Last night for example, I dreamt of a guy named Mr. Sugar, who apparently is some kind of professor/chick boy guy type of thing. I met him. We shaked hands. And I couldn't stop asking myself how he became a playboy guy person.

Eeek.

Whenever I think about going back to Dubai in a few weeks, I hyperventilate a little bit.

The thought of having to go back to work the day after I come back is enough to send me in panic, wishing that this vacation never ends.

Sigh.

I wish I didn't need so much money, so that I wouldn't have to work for so much. I'd gladly take a lower paying job if it meant that I'd be working with better people and I had better hours if that were the case.

Unfortunately, it is not so.
