The Dirham Photo Exchange

Gerk, one of my most admired photographers is doing a photo exchange over at Xanga and I thought that it was a fantastic idea...

I talked it over with Dox and he thought it was and I quote: "A great idea na may kasamang limang palakpak (plak! plak! plak! plak! plak!) at may kasamang limang stars. (*****)"

So, here's our proposal:


1. Choose from any and all of our photos from our respective Multiply sites.

2. We print it for you.

3. We choose from your photos.

4. You print it for us.

5. We all exchange.


Simple enough right? Get everyone else to participate and we get to organize one big party at the end of this to exchange.

Offer is only valid for UAE residents.

Print sizes will have to be 10 x 15 cm.

No watermarks. However, any and all of the images are still protected by copyright and may not be redistributed.

Photos may be signed if requested.

For those who are interested to participate, kindly place a comment on this blog with a link to the photograph of your choice by 30 June 2008, then we'll all meet on 4 July 2008 at DCC, Columbus Cafe (near Virgin Megastores) at 5:00pm to physically exchange our prints. If anyone is not available on this date, we will be more than happy to meet you on some other day that is convenient for you!

So, are y'all psyched yet? I am! Let's do this, after all what is AED1.00 between friends?
